Woodland management, site clearance, clear felling, pruning and ground maintenance
In the case of new residential or commercial developments, pipeline lying, highways and other environmental schemes, sites often need to be completely cleared of trees, scrub areas and roots. We work with private woodland owners, estate managers, local authorities and conservation groups to help plan and deliver relevant woodland management plans and activities.

Portable Sawmilling
It is a shame that so much great timber is lost during tree surgery. Usually the cut wood is seen as only waste that must be cleared as quickly as possible. Usually great timber is cut up into rings to be split up into firewood, or worse goes to land fill or fly-tipped by the unscrupulous.

Assured Technical Services leave nothing to waste. Our highly skilled tree surgeons use a towable Woodmizer Portable Bandsaw where access was possible and have also used a Chainsaw Planking Attachment to mill smaller sized timber which would otherwise have been inaccessible.

Full Public Liability Insurance Up To 10 Million Pounds
We also carry out environmental work such as natural habitat creation and the installation of a variety of man made habitats for invertebrates as well as mammals and birds. Natural habitat creation involves the use of existing natural structures such as standing dead timber, as well as new planting, to increase the available food and shelter for wildlife.

We can also supply and install a wide variety of bird, bat and insect shelters and nest boxes, including those for birds of prey, boxes for raptors such as sparrow hawks and kestrels as well as owls can be made to measure for particular situations.

  Health and safety
We take health and safety very seriously and have developed our health and safety procedures to the highest standard using our experience, training and commitment.

We work to British Standards 3998 recommendations for tree work ‘2010’, British Standards 5837 trees in relation to construction '2012', NPTC and AFAG guidance notes, All current industry best practice, Constructionline Approved and also CHAS Accredited (Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme).
